FAQ's

Is it easy to learn to dance?
No matter which dance(s) interest you, our insructors are well-versed and eager to make your dancing experience an enjoyable one. They break down each dance so that it is as easy as 1-2-3. Nobody has two left feet when they leave our studio.

Do I need a partner?
Absolutely not. While it is great to share dance with a spouse, significant other or friend, a large portion of our dancing community is single. If you take private lessons, you will be paired up with an instructor who will act as your partner. Students are rotated in group classes so that everyone has a partner. And everyone dances with everyone at our practice dance parties. There is no sitting on the sidelines like in junior high.

Which dances do you offer?
Under the ballroom category, we offer Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep. For Latin, we teach Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive, Bolero, East Coast Swing, Mambo. We also have many other offerings such as Salsa, Hustle, West Coast Swing, Two Step, Merengue and Hip Hop.

Which dance should I start with?
You can start with whatever dance you wish. It depends on what your goals are. After talking with an instructor, he/she can better help direct you as to what you may wish to learn. Certain dances such as Quickstep and Viennese Waltz, while a lot of fun to dance, generally are learned after you have established a base in Waltz and Foxtrot.
